Az anyanyelvem természetesen amerikai angol. Nekem van három gyerekem és néhány állatom. I've been teaching German at the university level for more than 20 years. My doctorate is in Modern German Literature, yet my books and articles concern not only German texts, but narratives from across the globe, thus my interest in languages beyond German, including French, Hungarian and Bulgarian. I also write fiction in German and English. Seit mehr als zwanzig Jahren bin ich als Professorin für Deutsch tätig. Ich schreibe über deutsche Werke des Realismus, aber auch über erzählerische Literatur aus der ganzen Welt. Bald erscheint mein erster Roman in deutscher Sprache: "Schön kästnerisch verfahren" (März 2010).
